Bagasse Sugarcane Compostable Clamshell Takeout Boxes
These compostable food takeout boxes are made with eco-friendly and sustainable molded bagasse, which is made from sugarcane pulp. When sugarcane is harvested the byproducts left behind from the extraction process are turned into bagasse, and then formed into a paper-like material for food takeout boxes, cups, and more. Sugarcane is much more renewable than trees or plastic materials.
Bagasse is 100% biodegradable, compostable, food-safe, and heat tolerant. It can be used for hot and cold food items and has a natural resistance to grease and moisture. They can even be used in the microwave and freezer. Our clamshell style bagasse boxes are durable and easy to use. They have an easy opening style with tab-lock closure. These boxes are a great way to promote sustainability in your restaurant.
